I love when Valentine's Day (or any candy-centric holiday, really) lands around PMS time, because then I can just go to town and have perfectly good excuse. My stomach becomes a chocolate-demanding bottomless pit, while I am fat and happy. Then, later, kind of sick.

Alas, it's not the case this year. You never know if they have no sense of humor, or just literally, as he said, have trouble showing apparently any type of emotion. In contrast to Index Card guy, I've got to give this guy points for snatching up the check, at least.

Um...Just in case you're thinking of calling him a year later (I know - You're not), I would suggest picking on him a bit with the poker face..."Did you not find that joke funny?" forcing him into making a comment, or possibly even causing him to smile because you called him out...

Some of these old posts are "New to me", so I'm having fun with it...But simply because you referred to them as reruns, I think I'll ask: "When does the new season of Stefanie start?" ;)3carnationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15942247215569463561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12047376.post-61729711024354082902007-02-14T12:37:00.000-06:002007-02-14T12:37:00.000-06:00Liz--Mmm... chocolates. His profile said "James," so the whole time we were going through the meMarmony-sanctioned hoops, I thought I was communicating with a James. Then we got to the first free-form email, and he signed his message Judd. I was totally thrown off and confused. More important, I LOVE that you just got up and left! I have SOOOOO wanted to do that more than once, but I've never had the nerve.

DCCM--Wait. Are you saying I should have given Judd a second chance? I hope that's not what you're saying...

L Sass--Having a blog now definitely makes dating more interesting. Even if it's a bad, bad date, at least I get some material from it. (Though I've often thought it's counterproductive to the relationship process to be thinking, mid-date, "I must remember to write about that...")Stefaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10128238432671375399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12047376.post-2651514124320770282007-02-14T11:29:00.000-06:002007-02-14T11:29:00.000-06:00Hehe. One time, I got out pad and paper in the cab on the way home to make bullet points to email my friends in the morning!

One of the bullet points was "he used the word 'pandemonium!' twice!"L Sasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09852624970958809824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12047376.post-87184864336986163332007-02-14T11:27:00.000-06:002007-02-14T11:27:00.000-06:00I met my husband by accident. I was in the middle of a divorce and had NO plans to start dating again.

After being initially dazzled by his looks, my next impression was that he was a total asshole. With zero personality. Luckily, I got to know him a little better and realized that he was just extremely nervous and didn't know how to react around me at first. Really?), I had lunch with a guy once (whose last name was Hand, which I thought was funny because I am a dork) in which he didn't respond to anything I said, change his facial expression, or participate in the conversation at all. So I ate really quickly and got up to leave. He said, "You're done already? Don't you want to stay and chat a little bit longer?" I said, "No," and left. Which was pretty awkward considering that we worked together.-R-https://www.blogger.com/profile/03106445268257079599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12047376.post-31710358098465482372007-02-14T09:35:00.000-06:002007-02-14T09:35:00.000-06:00The only good thing about this being Valentine's D...The only good thing about this being Valentine's Day is I always get a big box of chocolates from my boss, a tradition he's carried over from his father, who founded the company.
