Confessions

  1. I once paid over $30 of my own [not-so] hard-earned money (plus TicketBastard fees!) to attend a John Mayer concert.

  2. I taped the premiere of High School Musical 2 because I was going to be out of town when it aired (and, you know, I apparently thought the Disney Channel might not re-run it 47 times in the following week and I might actually miss that quality piece of modern filmmaking).

  3. I love me some fancy cheese as much as the next person, but I almost always have a package of Kraft Singles in my fridge for grilled cheese sandwiches and just plain old snacking.

  4. I have never made a pot of coffee in a standard home coffee maker, and I really wouldn't even have any idea how to do so if I tried. (Yes, yes, coffee goes in the basket and water goes in the top, but how much of each of those? And how long does it take? I really have no experience in this area.)

  5. I have seriously considered purchasing several ridiculous and likely completely ineffective products that seemed entirely useful at the time. (I do not actually own an AutoCool or a bottle of "Just a Drop," but I don't want to talk about how close I've come to that not being the case.)

Anyone else have anything they want to get off their chest today?

Great confessions!

My ex-sister-in-law didn't even know you were supposed to put water in the coffee maker. She put the coffee in and plugged it in, then just looked at me when it didn't do anything. THAT was funny!

My confession: I rarely eat anything fried... like maybe only a couple times a year. BUT, we bought a bag of Kettle brand chips (New York Cheddar flavor), and I ate the WHOLE BAG by myself. The whole bag. I was sick for a week, but ohmygod, they were soooooo good!

You and me? Same on all, but my #4 is that super chopper thingy that is on tv commercials. Me wanty and I resist for I know it will suck. Also, my #1 was on purpose and I liked it. :)

Confession - I have a three year subscription to People magazine and this isn't my first one. I KNOW!

1. I secretly love Justin Timberlake's "What goes around," and listen to it obsessively.

2. I spend a LOT of money to make sure a boy doesn't spend too much on me.

3. I brush my teeth waaaaaaaaaaay more than normal people do.

4. I'm terrible about scooping the cat litter.

5. Every time I go on a first date that is nice and lovely and involves a second date, I start looking at wedding dresses online. What is WRONG with me???

My only confession is that I am way too excited about Jim and Pam on The Office, but you already know that!

Don't worry about making coffee- the tin or bag of coffee grounds will tell you how much coffee to use, and the coffee maker should be marked to show you how much water to put in. I know you're not really worried about it, but I still feel the need to help.

I love ramen noodles and think that they make the perfect dinner, even if I'm not adding anything to them to bulk up the soup.

I'm such a bad coffee maker that a former boss used to make me carry a carafe to the convenience store next door to fill it up, rather than drink what I made. (What can I say, I don't drink coffee myself, so how am I supposed to know how it should taste?)

I usually used that time at the QT to snag myself a blueberry donut, as well. Mmmmm...donuts.

Making coffee makes me so nervous. I guess I know how, but I don't do it regularly. When our office manager is out and I'm the first one in the office, I warn all of my coworkers "I made the coffee! I'm sorry if it sucks!"

I am slightly enjoying (in a masochistic way, of course) seeing how long I can last without eating junk. My love of pizza is strong- very, very strong- but my stubborness is great.

As to all 5: DITTO. Yep. All five. Regarding #4, I have seriously considered purchasing those pots & pans that are round on the bottom and square on top.

I not only taped High School Musical 2, but specifically taped the sing along version SO THAT I COULD LEARN THE SONGS.

I need help.

I am so glad to know I'm not the only one with no coffee-making experience! I really thought you'd all gasp in shock at that.

I am also thrilled to know I'm not the only one over 16 who has some bizarre soft spot for High School Musical.

Times like this I'm convinced Al Gore invented the Internet just to make me feel like less of a freak. :-)

I missed the premiere of HSM2 and most of the re-runs. It is NEVER on when I'm home.

Thinker--Yes, but you are not 33, and therefore, there is no shame in that for you! :-)
