OK, I'm in

NaBloPoMo

I did it last year and it didn't kill me, so I figure I might as well try this National Blog Posting Month thing again. Unfortunately, the NaBloPoMo site got a whole lot more complicated since last year, and frankly, I'm a little overwhelmed. I just want to torture myself by posting for 30 days straight; do I really need to figure out a whole new social networking site to do so? People, I still don't understand Twitter, and I'm one of my generation's last remaining holdouts on MySpace and Facebook. In other words, I would love to add any of you who are also doing this NaBloPoMo thing as friends over there, but I'm too damn lazy to figure out how.

Speaking of laziness, however, I finally overcame that long enough to ditch the flowery pink template that I grew tired of long ago. If you're reading this in a feed-reader, click on over and take a look. Not so much because I'm looking for any sort of accolades, but because I'd hate for you to click through sometime a month or two from now and think you're in the wrong place. Nope. Same Stefanie. Same periodic ramblings. About to become less periodic for a full 30 days. Whoo-hoo.

P.S. Don't forget about the contest! I'll round up all the correct answers and draw a winner Monday night. Humor me and pretend you're on the edge of your seat waiting, OK?

Ooh, I love the new look! Awesome.

Also, I'm thinking the balloon-related injury is the lie.

I really like the new template, even if it's not your favorite.

Love the new template. And hooray, you're in! Now we complain for a month together.

I love the new template. Much more -you- than the old one, I think. (It makes sense in my head.)

I like the new template. How did you do the header?

Also, I feel the same way about NaBloPoMo, I do not like having to learn all about Ning. It's so far down there on my radar of things to learn about, and it's made me a little less than thrilled to participate.

So, so pretty!

I have not decided yet about the NaBloPoMo business. We'll see...

Well, you know I'm in this time.
And, I just pretty much ignore the facebook, myspace and twitter (whatever the hell that is- honestly- I don't know what it is) stuff.
I just think it will be interesting to see what we all come up with EVERY FREAKING DAY for a month.
I am technologically stunted and care not about the fancy com-pu-tor kerfluffle.

That's all for now- must do push-ups and squats before Thursday...

TOG--More "me"? Really? OK, thanks. :-) By the way, when are you going to start blogging again?? (Or have you, and you just chose not to tell me? I hope not!)

Noelle--I agree. Ning? No idea. As for my header, well, I went all over town and found each letter and took a picture and then assembled them. That's why it took me three months to update my template. ;-) Kidding. I did not do that. There's actually this cool tool called Flickr Spell that goes out and finds letters in Flickr pictures and arranges them to create whatever words you want. (I very much hope it was not illegal for me to use other people's pics that way. If there's a tool like that available, what ELSE would I do with it?)

Everyone else--Thanks! Glad you like the new look.

First off, I dig the new look. I've been wanting to overhaul mine, but just can't get myself motivated.

Secondly, good luck to you on the NaBloPoMo. Expect me to steal ideas from you when I run out of gas three days in.
