Quick question

Does the fact that I go through more wine than milk mean I'm drinking too much wine or too little milk?

If you'll excuse me, while you consider your answer, I'm just going to pop a calcium supplement or two, m'kay?

Oh, far too little milk. Take some Viactiv, and you're good to go.

I'm just going to say "too little" and leave it at that.

I'm guessing you don't drink enough milk. Have a bowl of cereal for breakfast and a glass of milk with dinner.

I think it's only a problem when you start pouring wine into your morning cereal or coffee.

There is no way you are drinking enough wine, these sentences are too coherent.

Why wasn't "too little wine" an option here?

Heh. That's what I wanted to hear, guys. Glad you've got my back on this.

Noelle, I love that logic. And Pam, I think that's an excellent rule of thumb. :-)

People don't actually NEED milk. (Unless they're babies, and it's breast milk. I know the dairy council would like you to believe otherwise, but it's true.) You can get plenty of calcium from all those healthy fresh veggies you're eating, right? ;)

Or, you know, pop a Tums and wash it down with the yummy, yummy wine.

No milk. No! More wine.

Also, I saw this definition the other day and thought you'd get a laugh out of it:

Communist Boy (noun): 1. He's smart, funny, just your type, but somehow it's not clicking. 2. A relationship that should, by all logic, work. It looks flawless on paper, like communism.

Liz--Or cheese, right? Cheese is a perfectly good source of calcium... plus it goes great with wine!! :-)

NPW--I LOVE that!! Perfectly describes the guy last winter, actually. Thanks! :-)

Maybe you should switch to harder alcohol. Less calories because you fall asleep drunk faster.

I was going to suggest cheese, but I see you have already come to the same brilliant realization that I have.

In a random question, have you ever tried the pumpkin-flavored Blue Moon? It looks like it might be good.

Ask yourself the question in the mirror, and whatever your immediate gut reaction is will be the right answer.

Definitely the latter, as the former does not exist.

Sounds like a well-balanced diet to me! Think about it... has milk every given you the courage to sing karaoke? I rest my case.

I vote: add more cheese, and more wine. I mean, cheese is an excellent source of calcium, and if you add cheese, you have to add wine in order to balance out the cholesterol.

NEVER enough wine, I say!

You guys are awesome. Let's all have a big wine and cheese party sometime, OK? I'll bring the Gruyere and some Malbec.

R--I'm sorry, but you appear to have mistaken me for someone who drinks beer! Don't worry. Happens all the time.

Stefanie, BUT YOU ARE FROM WISCONSIN. I expect you to know these things.

I think you're drinking entirely too much wine, Stef. Maybe Gregorlee and I should take your stash and hide it. ;-)

R--I know. I don't like beer; I don't like bratwurst; and I can't name more than one current Packer. If I hadn't already moved out of the state, they'd excommunicate me for sure.

Jamie--Whatever. I'd just wait until you were distracted by your cell phone and take it back again. :-) (I'd share with Greg, so he wouldn't tell.)
