Five reasons I am so groggy-foggy-headed today

1. Gin and tonic
2. Mandarin and tonic
3. Margarita
4. Kamikaze
5. More Mandarin, more gin, more tonic

Apparently this week I have forgotten I am not a rock star (or at least, forgotten I am not a college student), and I have been staying up too late, eating too much bad-for-me food, and giving my liver the sort of workout it hasn't been subjected to in years. A night at the pizza farm, a wine tasting, and a birthday party that went into the wee hours have all kept me very busy of late.

Hope all of you are sucking as much fun as possible out of the last remnants of summer. I'll try to return to some sort of more regular posting schedule come September.

Happy long weekend, all.

You're not the only one in a gin and tonic haze. God, I love those things.

Happy weekend to ya!

Yay for drunkenness! I fully support such behavior, you know. :)

Sounds like the fun is worth it- let it continue through the long weekend!
Your liver will understand. Just buy it something nice on Tuesday.

Nabb--Happy weekend to you, too (um, more than a little bit late)! :-)

Monkey--I was going to write about the pizza farm, but I have been an unforgiveably lazy blogger lately, so who knows if that will actually still happen. It's a farm and bakery in SW Wisconsin that makes fresh brick-oven pizzas on Tuesday nights, and you can sit and eat on their lawn. The pizza is awesome. (I was hoping it would be, since we drove an hour and a half on a Tuesday night to have some!)

GG--Yay for enablers as well! :-)

WM--I'm not sure what to buy my liver to make amends, but I think I definitely need to give it a break at this point!

Good job! Your weekend sounds way more fun than mine... full of errands and dorky science fiction television shows. You deserve a day (or a week) to recover.
