My cat's breath smells like cat food.

----------------------------------------
For an explanation of this alphabet theme, see my first NaBloPoMo post.
----------------------------------------

W is for Wiggum. As in Ralph Wiggum, who is, hands-down, my very favorite character on The Simpsons.

I'm a unitard!

I have been a bit lapse in posting my usual Friday Fives lately (I'm in the middle of a theme, people! And it can't always be enumerated in list form!), but I thought I would make this last post of NaBloPleaseNoMo* short and sweet (we're all weary of reading so damn many posts every day anyhow, right?) and finish the month off in brief five-point form.

Five of my favorite Ralph Wiggum quotes
  1. That's where I met the leprechaun. He told me to burn things.

  2. Oh boy! Sleep! That's where I'm a Viking!

  3. Slow down Bart! My legs don't know how to be as long as yours.

  4. When I grow up, I want to be a principal or a caterpillar.

And my personal favorite, from my favorite Ralph-centered episode (This Little Wiggy)...

  5. The pointy kitty took it!

Speaking of The Simpsons, know what else starts with W? One of Homer's favorite phrases. No, not "D'oh!" of course. I'm talking about Woo-hoo! And that is what I say to the end of NaBloPoMo. It's been fun, but I am done.

P.S. I'll still be finishing the alphabet. I just wouldn't count on it until next week. Peace out.

* Someone else penned this (or something very similar to this) yesterday, and I'm very sorry I don't remember which one of you it was. Claim credit in the comments if you like.

Update: It was NPW! Thank you for that addition to the blog-lexicon, you clever girl.

Congrats on finishing NaBloBlahBlah. And going out on a Simpsons note. What could be better?

I was going to comment about how this timing worked out perfectly because you get to skip X Y and Z, the hardest letters, but then I saw that you're going to finish the alphabet anyway. So let me just say, I'm impressed.

It was me! It was me!

And congrats on finishing strong, lady.

Yes, you made it! Oddly enough, my final NaBloPoMo post ALSO alludes to The Simpsons!

Finished with NaBloPoMo? That's unpossible!

PS - I'm still annoyed with Blogger and it's anti-wordpress policy. I've tried three times to submit this comment.

Whee! (Also a W word.) I love Ralph Wiggum! "It tastes like burning" is a personal fave. Actually, I found this handy list of Ralph-isms a while ago; please enjoy, with my compliments.

ConGraMo! Isn't it great to feel superior to other, more loser-y bloggers? I mean, I always do anyway, but...

I ate my red crayon.

Well-played this month, Stef.

Your posts exhausted ME. You did a great job and you deserve a medal!!!

Liz--Thanks! Yeah, I thought "Wiggum" was a more positive note to end on than "wrinkles," which I also considered for at least a moment or two. Boo.

Jess--That WOULD be a good idea, giving myself permission to skip those three because the month's over. Alas, when I start something, I have to finish (usually). (See: Calamity Physics. Gah.)

NPW--Oh yes. Sorry I forgot. Updated above to attribute proper credit. Thanks.

L Sass--We both made it. Whoo!

Noelle--Hee. Another fine Ralphism. And I'm annoyed that Blogger changed that, too. What the hell?

Aaron--Heh. I don't think you broke anything. And I see the link on the period. Wow; there are even more Ralph lines than I remember! It's best I didn't see that list earlier; it would have been even harder to narrow it down to five.

Maliavale--And I bent my wookie, too.

Paisley--I didn't mean to exhaust you! I'll agree, though; it was sort of a relief to get up today and see only 13 new posts in Bloglines, rather than 43. :-)
